CATWALK Collection and my second funding!

As many of you know, CATWALK is a student run charity fashion show that takes place in St. Andrews every year. This year, I will be designing and making a collection for them! It will be as 12 look, 20 piece collection, designed around the theme “Playtime”; it will be fun, playful, colourful and exciting. I’m honestly terrified about the process, the amount of drafting, cutting, ironing, sewing and fitting I will have to do all on my own but I am excited for all the mistakes I will make and all the lessons I will learn from them.

Additionally, I am extremely proud to announce that the University’s Student Project Fund is offering me £500 to create my collection! I will be sourcing the materials from Nippori, the fabric town in Japan, multiple online stores in Europe as well as thrifted pieces from charity shops in St. Andrews. I have already begun on working on the pieces and cannot wait to show you all what I can create with this funding!
