September Drop: The Scalloped Dress (Early access)

September Drop: The Scalloped Dress (Early access)

£250.00

It’s September first (well, fourth) and truth be told I am still frolicking about in my summer dresses. However, it turns out when you run a clothing brand you can’t just make autumn clothing in the middle of November hoping a December delivery date makes sense to anyone. So, I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to combine two of my favorite things: baby doll dresses and beautiful vintage fabrics.

I present to you the September Drop: The Scalloped dress. No, not the seafood, scallops are a rounded edge on a hem of a fabric. I am very confident in telling you that scallops will be huge in 2025, and by wearing this dress you’ll be signalling to the world that you’re a trend setter. If somehow - inexplicably - they aren't the statement look next year, well, you'd look really cute in this dress regardless <3.

This dress is made from vintage curtains which makes for the perfect transitional statement piece. The color of the plaid and the weight of the fabric will make the first step on a crunchy leaf even more exciting, but the puffy sleeve and scalloped hem won't allow you to forget the summer joy we felt in the warmer months. It is perfect for layering your shirts with big collars and reintroduce the printed tights I know you've missed.

The vintage fabric aspect of this drop however does mean I can only make a small quantity more of these dresses so grab 'em while you can!

If preloved fabrics are not your thing, totally fine! Please leave a note in the comment section when adding the dress to your cart and colors you’d like on your plaid fabric, and I will send you some extra options from fabric stores.

Any small changes you’d like to make to the design, for example sleeve style, length, etc. please also feel free to also leave a comment in the notes section and I’ll be in touch!

Please allow up to four weeks for production.

Please see the sizing chart: www.noedresses.com/sizing-guide

The fabric has been cleaned before production but because the lining and main fabric are very different, I would recommend dry cleaning or spot cleaning.

(Also don’t make the same mistake I did and iron the lining at anything above the synthetic setting on your iron. Having to remake the entire lining on day 2 of production wasn’t very fun.)
