I once dressed up as an angler fish at an Under The Sea themed costume party. I was wearing all black, tucked my hair into a the tightest pony I could and had a hanger going through said tight pony and fairy lights at the tip of the hanger, lighting up anything that was in front of me. It was a real Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging moment when I realized everyone else was wearing cute little see-through tops with glitter on their cheeks and calling themselves a mermaid. I am telling you this because I love anything ocean themed. So much that when I saw this fabric at the fabric store I did the obvious thing - I bought 20m of it. One of the creations that came from that is this beautiful corset. 

The lining is boned for support. The trim at the bottom are pleats and not ruffles (I know, I’m really stepping out of my comfort zone with one) and the back is finish with a set of silver eyelets and a matching ribbon made from the marine fabric. It’s a super cute and versatile corset, perfect on its own or to layer with a white blouse or turtleneck. 

Although I did have 20m of this fabric, it is dead stock that I bought years ago so stock will be limited - order while you can! 

There’s also an option to order this corset in a black or cream satin. I have not made it yet in those colors but I will soon, so photos to come oon!
